Introduction
VANCOUVER INSTITUTE OF MATERIALS TECHNOLOGY ETHICS SOCIETY has been organized since 2001. It is a legal society in the provincial government of British Columbia. It is a non-profit organization and is a legal medium via which all materials technologist can meet each other, communicate with each other and research ethics of materials science and engineering. It is also a bridge to connect China and North America. The aim of the organization is “knowing each other, making good decisions, technique interchanging and develop morale research of materials”. To provide research and engineering service in materials field especially in research and engineering ethics. The organization was closed on January 2016.
The authors have the hands-on experience of the science research and engineering in the on-line teaching, that is, they are the interesting cases that are designed for the young materials engineers and scientists . There were too many lessons of scientific research misconducts, such as data fabrications, false experiments results, plagiarisms, improper operations of scientific instruments, etc. They were the reasons due to the lack of scientific ethical knowledge.
Therefore, it is an very interesting field that the young materials students want to learn. In fact, everyone is making an ethical story all his life. It is designed for the materials experts rather than the ordinary readers, learn from others . it saves the young engineers a lot of grief.
